Eva Chandler Ripoll

Eva Chandler Ripoll, a native of New Orleans, LA and a resident of Ville Ste. Marie in Jefferson LA, passed away on Friday, September 24, 2021 at the age of 91 years. She worked as a hairdresser at Aida's Beauty Salon and was a member of the Nemesis Social Club. Eva enjoyed spending her time going to luncheons and casinos. She was preceded in death by her husband of 58 years, Wallace "Bubby" Ripoll, her brother, Thomas Chandler, and her sister, Evelyn Chandler Arnold. Eva is survived by many nieces and nephews. Relatives and friends are invited to attend a Funeral Mass in the J. Garic Schoen Chapel of Jacob Schoen & Son Funeral Home, 3827 Canal St. New Orleans, LA 70119 on Wednesday, September 29, 2021 at 11:00 am with visitation beginning at 9:30 am. Interment will follow in St. Vincent de Paul No. 2 Cemetery. In lieu of usual remembrances, contributions to St. St. Jude Children's Research Hospital, 262 Danny Thomas Pl.
