Fay Eschette Obituary

Fay Louise Vicknair Eschette passed away peacefully at her home on Thursday evening, March 15, 2018. Beloved wife of the late James J. Eschette Jr. Mother of James Joseph Eschette III (Brandy), Rickey Adam Eschette, and Nola Belle. Grandmother of Savannah, Abagayle and Joseph Eschette. Sister of Carlie Vicknair (Lisa), Wade Vicknair (Christi), and the late Lionel Vicknair and Patricia Vicknair Hosch (Lloyd). Daughter of the late Carswell and Joyce Peazant Vicknair. Also survived by numerous nieces, nephews and other relatives. Fay was a longtime resident of Harahan and a faithful parishioner of St. Rita. She will be dearly missed. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend a visitation from the Metairie home of THARP-SONTHEIMER-THARP, 1600 North Causeway Boulevard, on Friday morning, March 23, 2018, from 9:00 until 11:00. A Funeral Mass will follow at St. Rita Catholic Church, 7100 Jefferson Highway, Harahan, at 11:30. The Rev. Fr. Ken Smith will celebrate the Mass. Interment will follow in Restlawn Park Cemetery, Avondale. Condolences may be expressed online at www.tharpsontheimerfh.com.
