Fern White Obituary

WHITE, Fern
Born on July 28th, 1910, Fern passed away on April 18th, 2005 at her home in Sacramento. Beloved mother of Barbara Archuleta and Beverly Strubinger, and grandmother of Bonnie Jarvis and Julie Strubinger, she will also be missed by sons-in-law Frank Archuleta and Richard Strubinger. Also a beloved wife of the late Del White and daughter of Effie Gilbertson, Fern always loved to travel, shop, and enjoy life to its fullest. Fern was a member of Ila Neb Court, Daughters of the Nile, and has been a lifelong Christ Unity student. She always made us laugh and taught us that the best is yet to be. Friends are welcome to attend visitation on Saturday, April 23 from 2-5pm and Sunday, April 24 from 10am-5pm at South East Lawn Mortuary, 9189 E. Stockton Blvd, Elk Grove. Graveside services will be at 10:00 am on Monday, April 25 at East Memorial Park, 43rd St. and Folsom Blvd., Sacramento.

Dear BJ:

It was with sorrow that I read of your mother's passing in the Sacramento Bee yesterday (Sunday). As I recall, everytime I saw her in WFB, she was a smiling and happy person, friendly to all, and crazy about you BJ.

I want to extend my condolences to you and Beverly, and to all family members, for your loss of such a grand lady. How very fortunate to have had her in your life for so many years.

Flo
