Forrest Charles, Jr., age 76, an amazing father, brother, grandfather and friend, passed away on Saturday, January 27, 2024 at The Fidelis House in Metairie, LA. Beloved husband of the late Mrs. Ethia Reese Charles, of thirty-four years. Loving father of Farnell Charles and Fateshia (Elbert) Charles Fredericks. Son of the late Forest and Cora Charles, Sr. Son-in-law of the late Aldora and Dave Reese, Sr. Also survived by a host of siblings, grandchildren, cousins, sisters-in-law, brothers-in-law, nephews, nieces, other relatives and friends. Relatives, friends, and employees of Joseph C. Moscona School of Jefferson Parish School System and the Fidelis Care Group in Metairie are invited to attend the funeral service on Thursday, February 8, 2024 at 10:00 a.m. at Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church, 2200 Kenner Ave., Kenner, LA. Interment at Providence Memorial Park, Metairie, LA. Visitation will be on Thursday, February 8, 2024 from 8:00 am until funeral time.
