Frances Larche Obituary

Mrs. Frances Julia (Magnard) Larche, 84, residing in Copperas Cove, Texas; a native of New Orleans, Louisiana passed away peacefully on November 25, 2022 surrounded by loving and devoted family. She considered her birthplace her home and always felt strongly about family. Frances was born in New Orleans on July 1, 1938. When confirmed as a Catholic, she chose Theresa as her Saint name. She is preceded in death by her spouse Manuel (Joseph) Larche Sr., her mother Josephine (Marselette Leal) Moliere and stepfather Larry Moliere Sr. On August 13, 1955, she married the love of her life, Joseph Larche Sr. and started a family. They were together for 46 years when he passed. She is survived by their 6 children she gave birth to: Joseph M. Larche Jr. resident of California (grandchildren Josephine, Joseph III, Larry & 9 great-grandchildren); Sharon (Larche) Spencer resident of Huntsville Alabama (spouse David Sr., grandchildren Jasmine & David Jr.); Camille (Larche) Pichon resident of New Orleans, LA. (spouse Rod Sr., grandchildren Rod Jr., Samantha, Mary & 2 great-grandchildren); Debra (Larche) Smith resident of New Orleans, LA. (spouse Robert Sr. deceased, grandchildren Robert Jr., Nadia, Nancy & 3 great-grandchildren); Kenneth Larche Sr. resident of New Orleans, LA. (spouse June, grandchildren Kenneth Jr., Frances & 5 great-grandchildren); and Danetta (Larche) Calhoun resident of Copperas Cove, Texas (spouse Ronald Sr, grandchildren Ronald Jr. and Allen). Frances is also survived by a brother Larry Moliere Jr. resident of Wagman, LA. She resided with her youngest daughter Danetta in Copperas Cove, Texas. Frances was a devout Christian who successfully raised all of her children in the church. She made an impact on so many people, she never met a stranger. She was a joyful presence with her loving personality. She loved her family and filled her home with warmth and kindness. She loved attending and celebrating every family educational achievement and events. She participated with song and dance at family gatherings and celebrations throughout her life. Frances was loving, caring, selfless, patient and forgiving. She loved music, dancing, and spending time with her family. Frances was so humble. She was a peaceful person & homemaker full of love. Family members, friends, priests, and parishioners are invited to rejoice and honor the wonderful life and memory of Mrs. Frances "Theresa" Larche at Corpus Christi-Epiphany Catholic Church, 2022 St. Bernard Ave., New Orleans, LA. 70116 on December 9, 2022. A Mass of Christian Burial will begin at 8 am. The Wake will be held on December 8, 2022, 5 - 7 pm at D.W. Rhodes Funeral Home, 3933 Washington Ave., New Orleans, LA 70125.
