Father of Paul Marcel and his wife Patty, Corey Marcel and his wife April, Christine Martinez and her husband Tony, Lana Marcel and her companion John LeBoeuf, Darren Gaubert and his wife Holly, Troy Gaubert and his wife Darnell, Ray Gaubert and his wife Delsey, Veronica ''Ronnie'' Rodriguez and her husband August, Faith Cortez and her companion Nolan Frickey and the late Brian Gaubert. Father-in-law of Tammy Gaubert. Son of Oliver Marcel and the late Lucille L. Marcel. Brother of Roy Marcel, Junius Marcel and Jeanette Babin. Also survived by 22 grandchildren and 1 great grandchild. A native of Houma, LA and a resident of Des Allemands, LA. Age 72 years. He was a U.S. Air Force Veteran. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral. Memorial services at St. Gertrude Catholic Church, Des Allemands, LA on Friday, July 28, 2006 at 10:45 a.m. Interment St. Gertrude Cemetery.
