Gary Edward Edrington Sr.

1959 - 2022

In loving memory of Gary Edward Edrington Sr., who passed away peacefully at his home in Slidell, Louisiana on June 20, 2022. Gary was born in New Orleans, Louisiana on August 9, 1959, to Robert Edrington Sr. and Rose Mary Dorvaux. Gary was the loving father of two sons, Gary Edrington Jr. and Eric Edrington. He is predeceased by his parents, Robert Edrington Sr. and Rose Mary Dorvaux Findorff, his sister, Susan L'Hoste Chauppetta (Dickey), and Stanley L'Hoste. Gary is survived by his brother, Robert (Bobby) Edrington Jr., (Jackie), his sister, Dana Findorff Lipse (Kevin), stepfather, Raymond Findorff, life companion, Debbie Bass, along with a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, aunts, and uncles. Gary loved Jesus, and his family very much. Gary enjoyed fishing, crawfish boils, and the Louisiana outdoors. His hobbies were nice cars, the Saints, and listening to and collecting Kiss memorabilia, along with building model cars, and his extensive electric train set and village. Gary was loved and will be deeply missed. Services are as follows: There will be a noon Mass on Tuesday, July 19, 2022, at OLPS Church, 2320 Paris Road, Chalmette, Louisiana 70043, followed by a Priest and interment, 1:30 pm, at St. Bernard Memorial Gardens.
