Gary Peter Sumas

After a brief illness, Gary Peter Sumas 'twot' was called home by Our Lord on Monday, January 31, 2022 in Dallas, TX, at the age of 77 years. He was born in New Orleans, LA. and was currently residing in Lewisville, TX., with his wife Carol Candiff Sumas and son Craig Sumas since Hurricane Katrina in 2005. His parents were the late Allen Sumas, Sr. and Estelle "Tillie" Guimont Sumas. Along with his wife and son, Gary is survived by his brothers Allen, Jr. (Ann), Gilbert (Rita), and Charles (Stephanie) Sumas, sisters Lorraine Galbreth and Doris Brazley, brother-in-law Jules Galbreth, sisters-n-law Rosemary Sumas, Irene Sumas, Barbara Fredericks and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends to celebrate his memory. Gary was preceded in death by his parents and his brothers Gregory and Matthew, father-in-law Alvin Candiff, mother-in-law Grace Candiff, brothers-in-law Zannie Brazley, Conrad Frederick and Alvin Candiff, Jr.
