George Edis Obituary
Mr. Edis was born on February 24, 1944, in Wadsworth, OH, and passed away on Friday, June 19, 2009. He was a son of the late George R. Edis, Sr. and Laura Stauffer Edis.
Mr. Edis is survived by his wife, Barbara McGeorge Edis of Prosperity; son, George Edis, III (Diana) of Columbia, SC; grandchildren, Savannah and Emily Edis and sister, Ramona Wonov of Wadsworth, OH. He was predeceased by his first wife, Darlene Claudia Edis and sister, Patricia Gruver.

SCCA sports racing brought many good things to our life, especially the introduction of George. Although we didn't see him on a regular basis, each contact was like there had never been any time passed. He will be missed. Our thoughts and prayers are with your family.
