Dear Carolyn,
My brother Louie joins me in saying how sorry we were to hear about George. Louie particularly remembers how he took the time to play marbles with him. Both of us have such fond memories of all of the Vilas--absolutely the best friends and neighbors.
Our prayers are with you all.

Barbara, I can't begin to tell you how sad I am about your dad. I know how much a parent means to us, and I know he was a wonderful man and father to you. I pray that you and your family will have and keep the strength to get through this. My heart hurts for you; you are in my thoughts and prayers. Your special father will always be with you as he looks down from heaven and watches over his special little girl who is a sweetheart. I just want to hug you right now. Dennis sends his hugs and condolences too. Love you, Debbie
