Geraldine "Ms. Gerri" Wagner Lumar, age 69, entered eternal rest on Saturday, September 25, 2021, at Tulane Medical Center surrounded by loved ones. She was born March 2, 1952, to the late Mary Louis Wagner and Grady Washington in Liberty, MS. At a early age she relocated to New Orleans, LA where she graduated from Booker T. Washington Senior High. Geraldine was a long-time employee of Winn Dixie supermarket where she retired from after 25+ years. Geraldine was a faithful member of Little Zion Baptist Church under the leadership of Rev. Walter Hardy Sr. She leaves to cherish her memories her loving husband, Raymond Lumar Jr; 1 daughter, Sabrina Albert (Clarence); 3 sons, Reginald, Jamal (Tikishia), and Raymond Lumar III; 12 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; brother, Billy Wagner; 2 sisters, Barbara and Sandra Wagner; and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. Relatives and friends are invited to attend her Funeral Service on Friday, October 15, 2021, 10:00 am, at Little Zion Baptist Church, 4821 Earhart Blvd, New Orleans, LA 70125. Visitation will be held from 9:00 am until the hour of service. Interment Providence Memorial Park, Metairie, LA. Services entrusted to Dennis Funeral Home, 1812 Louisiana Ave., New Orleans, LA 70115, 504-899-8252.
