To the LeBlanc family ~ you have my deepest sympathy in the loss of your mom. The seat you sat in I sat there 1 year & 10 months. I know the pain all so well. I tell you this grief has no time limit. You may not see her but know us walking by your side. I had the honor and pleasure entrusting Ms LeBlanc to do my wedding cake 20 years ago. She was a part of my wedding (never to be forgotten). My cake was the star because it was done by a Star. LOOK UP, RELY & TRUST GOD for your strength and comfort.

My heart is heavy knowing that Gertie has left us behind. I’ll always remember her kind heart and unconditional love and dedication she had for family and friends. Gertie was always willing to help anyone seeking assistance, offering everyone a place at her table to share whatever she prepared for her family. I appreciate the times spent talking with Gert, reminiscing about our family’s experiences throughout the years.
You are truly missed Gertie.
Rest In Peace,
Byron, Bridget and Family

If anyone ever asked where I got my no nonsense attitude, sassy ways, steady piping hand, pound cake secret recipe and baking skills it was from My adopted mom. Momma Gert took me in and accepted me as one of her own. The wisdom and advice she gave even though it came with a few cuss words will be cherished forever. I will always laugh when I think of your happy bus rides to the casino. I know you'll always be by my side protecting me. Say hi to Mr Shakey. Rest in Heaven until we meet again. I'll miss you. Love Rhonda
