Gladys Salsiccia Obituary

SALSICCIA Gladys Salsiccia, 92, a lifelong resident of the New Orleans area, went home to her Lord, Jesus Christ, on Friday, February 25, 2011. She was preceded in death by two loving husbands, Archie F. Gaines and T. Dominick Salsiccia. She is survived by her nieces, Marilyn G. Spahn and Cathy S. Solis and her nephews, George M. Quartano, Joseph Quartano and Byron Saigeon. GiGi, as she asked everyone to call her, generously shared her life with several generations of nieces and nephews as well as many friends at Gatehouse Apartments where she happily spent the last 26 years of her life. As a woman of constant prayer, even for those she did not know, she was a source of encouragement and joy to all she encountered and will be sincerely missed.
