Guietta Inscoe Obituary

Guietta J. Inscoe, born October 12, 1961, passed peacefully at home surrounded by family on August 10, 2023. Survived by his wife of 35 years, Karen Inscoe and his children, Angelique Dunnegan (Shane), Korey Inscoe (Ashley) and Kevin Inscoe (Mandy). A 30-year employee of ADM, he dedicated his life to his family and his career. He was not your average man, so this isn't your average obituary. He was greater than words. For those that knew and loved him, read this knowing the way he lived his life will be his legacy. For those that didn't know him, help us honor his greatness by following his best advice. Don't waste a day, tomorrow isn't promised. Tell people how you feel, even when it isn't the easy thing to do. If a friend needs help you help them, never expecting anything in return. Never waste an opportunity to teach a child something new; they are the future. Blood doesn't make you family, love does. No matter how bad your situation seems, remember there is always someone who has it worse. Cook an extra plate for dinner, you never when company might stop by. Don't begrudge anyone in need, if you have it, share it. Answer the phone call, buy the boat, take the vacation, go on the fishing trip, have the adventure. Talk to strangers, they have the best stories. Be a student of life, there's always something new to learn. Be responsible; complete every task you are given to the best of your ability. Live and let live, be accepting of other people's differences. Most importantly, always put your family first and keep them close. Live everyday like it's your last. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that everyone perform a random act of kindness in his honor. Be a better person. Per Guietta's request, no services will be held.

Karen, I have been keeping you all close in prayer. I only met Guietta a handful of times but he was always smiling and happy and quick to share whatever was cooked or cooking. I recall how he pulled you close in a hug and I knew he really really loved you! My deepest sympathy to you all. Love Juana

This was such a shock to me. Although I was not a blood relative to Uncle Guietta, he treated me like I was. I never saw him without a smile. He was the type of person you couldn´t wait to hang around. He always had jokes. I would go to his house and he´d ask me if I wanted some chocolate cake. I´d say yes. He´d say, "me too. Go ask Aunt Karen to make us some" LOL. His mood was infectious. I still tell my kids about him. It was a privilege to have known him for the time I did. He will surely be missed. Uncle Guietta was one of a kind. Love you man!

The Inscoe family,
Miss Karen. Miss Angelique [Shane] Korey [Ashley] Kevin [Mandy] and the little ones.
My condolences and prayers to you all. This is truly a tragedy to us all. And truthfully i have no words to express my thoughts. Just no my heart aches for all of you. I myself have wept, with hurt, anger and laughter. I've hurt from the pain of losing someone i loved dearly. I just don't think he nor you all knew how much i cared. It goes back to fifth grade elementary school. The anger comes within me because i didn't get to tell him goodbye. i love you and you'll be missed. And the smiles and laughter come from the meaningful good times. From the football field to the classrooms. From all the Sunday games we played. To the Sunday cook outs at his home with you all. Its memories that i will cherish for my last days. I weep [cry] and feel the pain as i type this. And can only imagine your heartaches.
Just no the heartfelt moments don't end with you all. For all that knows or knew him can't say nothing but good things about him. It's going to be hard on everyone. Especially the little ones that was hanging around. I know he had a big impact on them he was just that kind of man!
You Kids take care of your Mother. For i fear she will need you more than ever. Miss and love everyone. God bless you all!
