Harold Lee Bourgeois

BOURGEOIS Harold Lee Bourgeois passed away peacefully in his sleep Wednesday, October 3, 2007. He was 76 years old, a native and life-long resident of Paulina, LA, a U.S. Army veteran of the Korean War and retiree of Shell Oil Refinery in Norco, LA. He is survived by his wife of 57 years, Jewel Mae Decareaux and five children: Tania Bourgeois, Greta Bayers, Albert "Bean" Bourgeois, Bentley Bourgeois and Sabrina Heltz; and sister, Earline B. Louque. Father-in-law of Richard "TeRich" Bourgeois, Robert Bayers, Liz Gilford and David Heltz. He is also survived by 11 grandchildren and 6 great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by his parents: Pierre and Claudia Petit Bourgeois; and brothers: Lindy and Thomas. He was a member of VFW Post 5852 and enjoyed gardening, hunting and fishing. Visitation at Alexander Funeral Home on Thursday, October 4, 2007 from 6:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m. and Friday from 8:00 a.m. until 10:45 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, LA at 11:00 a.m. Entombment in St. Joseph Cemetery.
