Harry Joe Fritz, age 78, passed away peacefully at Passages Hospice on Thursday, February 23, 2017. A native of Empire, LA and a resident of Buras, LA. Devoted husband of Sharon Riley Fritz. Father of the late Leslie Fitch. Son of the late Sylvester Fritz and Myrtle Louis. Son in law of the late Mervin Riley, Sr. and Alese Jones. Brother of Laverne Hayes, Aline H. Smith and the late Cecile F. Billiot, Mable F. Anderson, Hazel F. Joseph, Louise Hayes, Alvin, Paul, Antoine, and John Fitch, and Carl Hayes. Deceased is also survived by a host of relatives and friends. Relatives and friends of the family, Plaquemines Parish School Board, Boothville Venice Elementary, Zion Hill Christian Church, and all neighboring churches are invited to attend the funeral services on Saturday, March 11, 2017 at Zion Hill Christian Church 137 Zion Hill Ln. Boothville, LA 70038 at 10:00AM. Visitation will begin at 8:00AM. Pastor Samuel Crum, Sr. Officiating. Interment will be private.
