Harry Vicknair Obituary

Harry "Rambo" Vicknair, Sr. died on Monday, June 17, 2002. Beloved husband of 51 years of Jane Vicknair. Father of Harry Jr., George and Christopher Vicknair, Stephanie Vicknair, Mary Vicknair Keating and the late David J. Vicknair. Grandfather of Brandy, Breeze, Courtney, Brittany, Alex and Justin Vicknair and Jenna Keating. Son of the late Noe T. and Elma Ordeneaux Vicknair. Brother of LeRoy, Jessie, Clerfert, Herman (Dutch), Gerald, Milton, Wayne, Noe T. (Tim) and Geraldine Vicknair, Brenda V. Braud, the late Norris (Charlie), Wilton, Roland, Noella, Harold, Lester, Larry and Brother Hubert Vicknair, S.M. Age 77 years. A Corporal Rifle Marksman in the United States Marine Corps during World War II, retired from Colonial Sugars and a member of VFW Post 5852 and Knights of Columbus Council 1817. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral services. A Mass of Christian Burial, conducted by Reverend Ed Fuss, will be celebrated on Thursday, June 20, 2002 at 10:00 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, Paulina, LA. Friends may call at H.C. ALEXANDER FUNERAL HOME OF LUTCHER, 2208 JEFFERSON HIGHWAY on Wednesday evening from 6:00 until 10:00 and on Thursday morning from 8:00 until 9:30. Private interment will take place at a later date.
