Helen was my step grandmom
Really the only grandmom I've Ever know
I was 11 when I lost her
Now im 28 w 2 kids
And I still miss her
I miss watching friends w her
I miss her laugh
I miss sharing snacks and chocolate
I miss everything
I miss going downstairs opening the front door and there she was in her sweater w a heated blanket on lap always (summer or winter didnt matter) and hearing her say my name "hello there margaret"
I think of you often
I recently went and saw you and grandpa's grave for the first time
And im gonna clean you guys up and visit more
I even brought ellie along and she left you guys a little gift
I wish you could of met the kids
I wish I got more time w you
And I got to tell you how much I loved you guys
Till we meet again
