Julie, Kevin and Robyn:: I am so very sorry learning of the loss of Bobby. Both of you were such good friends of mine many years ago. It seems like another lifetime. Fond, fun memories of our friendship fishing and camping. I remember so well that flatboat you all took out into the Gulf-- very brave! And sleeping in tents on the marsh surrounded by it seemed like hundreds of hermit crabs; and with the tide getting closer and closer through the night. I don't think any of us got any sleep. He was a good guy that loved the outdoors and lived his life to the fullest, but most of all he adored you Julie, and your children. Unfortunately we lost touch after Robyn was born. But I will never forget how good of a friend and person Bobby was those many years ago. I pray that you and your family find the strength to get through this very difficult time and take comfort in knowing that we will all see our loved ones again one day. I offer you my most heartfelt, deepest sympathy . . . .

Bobby, was always my closest friend... more like a brother than a friend. He fought a tough battle but always kept his head held high. He was an inspiration. I have many fond memories that I will forever hold dearly.

My deepest symphaty to the Barthel family, Ms. Doris, Julie, Kevin, Robyn, Carson and Grayson

We express our deepest sympathy in your time of loss. And celebrate with you the life of a wonderful friend and co-worker. He was kind, easy going, and performed his job to percision,(he crossed T's and dotted I's smile). He was an example of teamwork,a hard worker and got along with everyone; his example of brotherhood lingers in Amtrak's train yard today. Thank you for letting us have him 8hrs a day for 13yrs,we're blessed to have crossed paths with Henry. You are blessed to have a husband, father, son, relative and friend like Henry. He was very proud of his family, but we don't need to tell you that. May God Bless and keep you! Amtrak: Electricians & Mech Dept.
