Henry Jackson Obituary

Henry Jackson, Jr. entered into eternal rest on December 15, 2021, at the age of 83. He was the loving husband of Mrs. Lucy V. Jackson. Mr. Jackson is also survived by his children: Darlene Diggs (Jimmie), Cassandra Boyd (Avery), Timothy Jackson, Henry Jackson III, and Euclid Temple; brother Roland Jackson (Deborah), sister Carolyn Washington, 19 grandchildren, 42 great grandchildren, and a host of other relatives and friends. He is preceded in death by his parents Clara Keller and Henry Jackson Sr.; siblings: J.D. Hines (Sarah) and Jerry Dean Jackson Borne (Lawrence). Family and friends are invited to attend His Celebration of Life Service on Thursday, December 23, 2021, for 10:00 a.m. at St. Mark Baptist Church, 132 Marquez St., Mt. Airy, LA 70076. Visitation will begin at 8:00 a.m. Pastor Oscar Nelson, officiating. Interment will follow at St. John the Baptist Catholic Church Cemetery, 2349 LA-18, Edgard, LA 70049.
