To Ann and The Christenberry Family,
I has been a pleasure to know Mr. Herbert Christenberry for the last 13 plus years. I am sorry for your loss of such a dear and honorable man. Mr. Christenberry was one of the most caring man I have ever known. He was proud of his family and served loyally to his long time friends and their family. He was a great friend and father-like figure to The Webber and Murray family. I wished we had known him longer and his memory will follow with honor for years to come. My heart goes out to The Christenberry Family. May you find peace knowing he was such a wonderful man.
Warmest Regards,
Robin

To the Christenberry Family:
As you know, I lived down the street from Mr. Herbert for a long time, but got to know him best from the times we met nearly every Wednesday evening to record the story of his life. Even though we talked for many hours over the course of a year or so, and even though we discussed everything he could remember about both his personal and professional lives, I will never forget that not an unkind word was ever spoken about anyone he knew - and that was a lot of people! When he spoke about you, Cindy, it was with deep and sincere pride in your kindness and intelligence. And when he spoke about you, Jerry, it was with true admiration for the wonderful father you are to your sons.
For me - I felt that if I had a problem of any kind and went to Mr. Herbert for help, he would never do less than his utmost best to help me solve it. What more can anyone expect from a neighbor and friend? I will truly miss him.

Dear Mrs. Ann, Chris, Wayne, Drew, Cindy, Jerry, Corey, Casey, and Madeline,
What a loss we have all suffered with the passing of Mr. Herbert. He was such a kind, generous, and compassionate man who was always making sure that things were done for others. An avid Canasta player we will certainly miss him on Tuesday nights at cards and especially his many stories he enjoyed telling us.He loved all his family and know that each of you made him proud. I am happy he is now in heaven with Clay. Thank you Mr. Herbert for the life you lived and for welcoming me into your family.

I'm so proud to have known my childhood friend's dad and my parent's dear friend, and mourn the loss of such great man. Wayne and I attended grammar school together and later rekindled our friendship through the connection our parents' maintained through all these years. The Bozo's memories will live in our hearts forever! I am privileged to have been a part of "the lunch group" in their annual Father-Son Luncheon at Christmastime for the last several years. A tradition that Mr. Herbert started years ago. He was deeply loved by all that knew him and he will be missed greatly. In speaking for my mom and dad, Chris and Bernadine Vodanovich, I'm sending all our love and deepest sympathy to Wayne and the entire Christenberry family.
