Herbert R. Thomas, affectionately known as "Peter" was born on March 8, 1939 and passed away on Monday, February 5, 2018. He was a product of the Orleans Parish Public School System and was faithful to Jehovah God. He was a certified Emergency Medical Technician, a taxi driver and a hospital truck driver with Owens and Minor. Loving Wife, Jerral Thomas. Son of the late Lawrence Thomas and Inez B. Nelson. Father of Walter V., Herbert R. II (Monique), Denise Marie Thomas, Christopher C. (Diandra) and Christopher's mother Mildred Mollere and the late Kenneth R. Thomas. Brother of Gregory (Deagrine) Dawsey, George (Cheryl) Dawsey, Joseph " Zigaboo" Modeliste, Elaine (David) Graves, Stella (Jeff) Harris, Carl Ann Johnson and the late Lawrence Thomas, Jr. Sisters-in-law, Cheryl (Alvin) Barrow and Penny Derkins. Devoted Sister in Jehovah God, Sister Betty Lee. Also survived by grandchildren, Grace, Gabrielle, Alexander, Codi and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, relatives and friends.
