Howard Morton was born on September 14, 1948 and died on Thursday, December 20, 2018 where passed away peacefully at St. Joseph Hospice at the age of 70. Howard was born in St. James, LA and lived in Vacherie, LA. Survivors include his beloved wife Shelia Dillon Morton, two daughters; Olivia Simmons (Delwin) of Austell, GA., and Ebony Coleman (Walter), of Cordova, TN., one son Howard Washington (Latania) of Laplace, LA., two stepchildren; Percy Dillon (Deandrea) and Lekisha (Missy) Walker (Eric), 4 brothers: Alvin Morton (Katherine) of Laplace, LA; Rodger Morton of Vacherie, LA, Vernon Morton of Lutcher, LA and Robert Morton (Sherline) of Reserve, LA; two sisters; Mary Winfield of New Orleans, LA and Joyce Morton of Vacherie, LA and one god daughter Mavis Morton of Vacherie, LA. Also survived by 23 grandchildren, two great grandchildren, two sisters-in-law; Mazey Ferrier (Harry) and Rose Mary Tubbs, a host of nieces, nephews, cousins and friends. Howard is preceded in death by his parents: Nobel and Olivia Morton, son; Jarvis Alexander, sister; Rosana Morton and brother; Nobel Morton Jr. Relatives and friends of the family, also Pastors, officers and members of the Deliverance Missionary B. C., City of New Orleans, Securitas and others are invited to attend the Funeral Service on Saturday, December 29, 2018 for 10:00 am at Deliverance Missionary B.
