Inez Agnes Lahusen Oubre on Wednesday, December 6, 2006 at Fountain View Care and Rehabilitation Center in Springhill, LA. Aged 93 years. Beloved wife of the late Vernon Villier Oubre for 44 years. A native and lifelong resident of Algiers, LA. Daughter of the late John F. Lahusen and Lorena Bertrand Lahusen. Daughter-in-law of the late Villier Joseph Oubre and Winnie Mullett Oubre Umbach. Survived by sisters Gloria L. Maynor and Lorena L. Sasser, and a host of friends and nieces, nephews and relatives in the Lahusen and Oubre Families. Pre-deceased by brothers, Frederick J., Lawrence and Ralph V. Lahusen. She was a trusted employee for many years at Mayer Israel & Co. on Canal Street. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend graveside services at St. Bartholomew Cemetery at De Armas and Verret Streets in Algiers, LA at 2:00 p.m. on Monday, December 11, 2006.
