Iris Lester Tyrolf on Sunday, June 9, 2002. Beloved wife of the late Edward O. Tyrolf, Jr. Mother of Kenneth F. Tyrolf, Sr. of Metairie, LA., Karen T. Miller of Covington, LA. and Deborah T. Hymel of St. Rose, LA. Daughter of the late Frank C. Lester and Julie Donahue Lester. Sister of the late William J. Lester. Grandmother of Kenneth F. Tyrolf, Jr., Kathryn Miller, Whitney and Samantha Hymel. Mrs. Tyrolf was a retired kindergarten teacher and former proprietor of Jimminy Cricket Day Nursery. Age 82 years. A native of New Orleans, LA. and a resident of Kenner, LA. for 40 years. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass from Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home Chapel, 4747 Veterans Blvd., near Clearview on Tuesday, June 11, 2002 at 12:00 Noon. Interment in Greenwood Cemetery. Visitation will be on Tuesday from 10:00 AM until 12:00 Noon. In lieu of flowers, Masses preferred.
