My sincere condolences on the passing of Irvin. Knew Irvin from school days(sports)Carver Jr./Sr. High. I went to Frederick Jr. High and Clark Sr. High (Class of "67") Irvin and I went through AIR FORCE basic training (October 2, 1967) at Lackland AFB Tx. Irvin's leadership abilities was the reason he was appointed as our guide-on (flag bearer)during basic training.I just finished looking at the picture from our graduation from basic. Good memories my Friend, may you rest in heavenly glory.Squadron 3702 Flight 1271/1272.
