My Big Brother "Boo" "Riv" - u don't know how much you are missed. Life isn't the same without you and Momma around and now Yancy. I knew "Boo" from Southern University Baton Rouge more than 40 years. Always the sports competitor and always a good brother to hang out with.

Thanks to everyone that thought of us and sent their condolences during this very difficult time in our lives. We are going to take comfort in knowing that my brother's life had an affect on so many peoples lives, and they came out to pay their final respect to him for being a good teacher, being kind, jolly and positive person. Praying that God take care of his children who are grieving and take our hand and walk with us through this very tough journey.

"Boo" rest in peace my brother, I hope to see you on the other side. All I can remember is playing Babe Ruth baseball with some of the best talent in the city of new orleans, (i.e Isadore carrie, Roy Lapage, Nace James etc.) these guys were legends. We all loved you "boo" beyond the baseball diamond. Rest in peace my brother.

Big Boo rest in Peace you are a pillar in Our neighborhood I will miss talking trash with you about all sports but most of all you trying to convinced me that Fortier was somehow better than St. Aug in everything. LOL I will think about you and remember all the good times. Watching you play baseball for SUNO and softball for everybody you played for and bragging that you was from my hood was the best.

Boo, it jolted me to read of your passing; after I moved back to New Orleans a few years ago, I tried to locate you in the old neighborhood and I passed by the Sporting Lounge, but it was closed up after Katrina. You were such a wonderfully friendly and generous man with a fun loving soul and I' m going to miss you and cherish the times I spent over at your club. You were like a big brother to me. I also want to personally extend my condolences to your sister Muriel Ann whom I worked with at Uptown Square back in the day and to all the Carries. To the family of Isadore Carrie, Izzy was a kind, caring, helping, thoughtful person. We worked together at Woodson School. IZZY was a good teacher, loved kids and always assisted where needed. You can always depend on Izzy. He often talked about his son, little Izzy.
