Isidro Bemiss Obituary

BEMISS Isidro "Cutaw" John Bemiss, Jr, age 77, passed away on May 28, 2012 at River Region Hospice. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend his Homegoing Celebration on Saturday, June 2, 2012, 10:00AM at Victory Fellowship, 5708 Airline Hwy. Visitation will be held from 9:00M until the hour of service. Interment Providence Park Cemetery. He is preceded in death by his parents Isidro Sr and Anna Bemiss-Woods; his sister, Joyce Bemiss Gouse; two brothers, Anthony and Merlin Woods. He leaves to cherish his memories his devoted wife, Gladys Williams Bemiss; 6 children, Kirk (Yvonne) of Terrytown, LA, Isidro (Della) III of Houston, TX, Terri, Desmond (Linda), Randy and Casey (Sherra) Bemiss of New Orleans, LA; his brothers,Alton (Janice) and Erroll (Connie) Woods; brothers and sisters-in-law, Shirley Williams Wright, Carl (Betty), Gloria and Timothy Williams; 14 grandchildren; 3 great grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews, other relatives and friends.
