David I. Walsh

1938 - 2017

David I. Walsh, 79, passed away May 23rd. He was born March 24, 1938 to the late Ralph and Helen Walsh. David worked as a teacher for many years. An avid reader, he liked to follow politics. David also enjoyed swimming and acting in plays with a local group in Springfield. He leaves behind two daughters, Annmarie Walsh and Kathleen Wilsack and her husband Andrew of East Dennis MA, a son David and his wife Maria of Reading MA, and three grandchildren, and his sister Sheila Walsh of Feeding Hills. Funeral Services will be held WEDS 11:30 AM at SAMPSON’S CHAPEL OF THE ACRES, 21 TINKHAM RD., SPFLD. Burial will follow in Calvary Cemetery, Chicopee. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations in David’s name may be made to Shriner’s Hospital for Children, 516 Carew St., Spfld, MA 01104
