My big brother, my hero! As fine a man as ever walked this earth. Beloved by everyone. EVERYONE! Everyone in Reading, Pennsylvania who knew you has told me so. Your schoolmates have told me so, and it's always the same, "All I know is, Jim Mason was my hero!"
I loved and adored you, big brother! I remember every kind word you ever spoke to me, and every kind gesture. I keep them safeguarded in my heart. Your greatness has inspired me in becoming a man. You will always be our World Champion!
Adorn thy head with the many crowns of glory that have awaited you. You deserve every one of them. Praise the Living God for this man's legacy of excellence.

Thumper .... that is how all of us knew Jim. He was a great friend and a bunch of fun to hang out with. I'll put my name on this, but, it is really from several guys. Thumper served with all of us in the US Air Force - Stump, Dudley, Rickster, Jack and K.P. Rest in Peace our Brother. We all miss you.

Marie and I just found out about Thumper's passing. He and I were "flush mates" in Korea and he stayed at our house in San Antonio when he left Korea. I was stunned to see he had passed. We lost touch when I moved to Springfield MO. Our sincere condolences to the family.

Cathy and I miss my brother Jim. He was our Best Man in our wedding almost 35 years ago.
Jim was a big part of my decision to also serve in the USAF. I am proud to have served and I thank Jim for his help in making me the man I am today. Jim has made a difference in so many lives and I am happy to have shared him with people all over the world.
