James Nolan Obituary

NOLAN Ret. Lt. Col. James "Jim" P. Nolan, Jr., USAF, age 69, born July 25, 1939, passed away Tuesday, November 18, 2008, at Fawcett Memorial Hospital in Port Charlotte, Fl, at approximately 12:30 p.m. He was a native of Norwich, Connecticut, a recent resident of North Port, FL, and a long-time resident of LaPlace, LA. After serving his country on active duty for 23 years, he chose to live in LaPlace, LA and practiced his long time profession of anesthesia at Kenner Regional Medical Center, in Kenner, LA. He actively participated in community activities, sponsored events within the community, and participated for several years in the New Orleans Mardi Gras Krewe of Endymion. He is survived by his wife, Jacqueline Gibson Nolan, a daughter, Colleen Anne Nolan Quinn and a son, James P. Nolan III; twin grandsons, John Pierce Quinn and Liam Michael Quinn. Services will be at the new Veteran's Memorial Cemetery in Sarasota, FL, in January.
