Janet Temple Comardelle

1947 - 2023

Janet Temple Comardelle, after a year long battle with cancer, passed away peacefully on to her eternal life in the early morning of September 27, 2023, at the age of 75. Janet was the beloved wife to her late husband, Ricky Comardelle, Sr. Mother of Kieth J. Blanda, and stepmother of Rhoda Comardelle Moore (Robbie). Grandmother of Jordan Blanda, Kieth Blanda, II, Tyler Moore and Adam Moore, who affectionately named her 'Mawzy'. Janet was born on October 24, 1947, in New Orleans, to the late Horace and Lola Dugas. She is also preceded in death by her siblings, Ruby Nell, Daisey Mae, Johnie Earl, James Lavell, and her twin sister Jackie. She will be lovingly remembered by her family, friends, co-workers, and all who knew her for her kindness, fun-loving and giving spirit. She enjoyed life to the fullest and danced her weekends away. If she wasn't dancing on the weekends she was spending time with her family who she absolutely adored. She will forever be in our hearts.
