Jason Brock passed away Friday, November 26, 2021. He was 46 years old. Jason was a kind, loving and generous person. He had a dynamic, personality that made him a true joy to be around. He had a smile that sparkled and a dapper sense of style that was like no other. Jason had an amazing sense of humor and a magnetic energy about him that always lit up the room. A native of Reserve, La., he attended St. Charles Catholic High School, where he graduated in 1992. In 1995, Jason earned his R.N degree from Our Lady of the Lake College in Baton Rouge, La. Jason was taught at an early age to have strong work ethic, how to work well with all people and build lasting relationships. This built the foundation for the entrepreneurial spirit that he carried with him throughout his life. His enormous energy and drive to succeed made him successful in all his endeavors. Jason had a variety of interests. He loved the thrill of drag racing, boating and enjoyed cruising around in his 1963 Cadillac. His grilling skills were "Legit" and he enjoyed sharing those skills with all of his friends and family. He loved his family beach trips, visiting theme parks, attending his son's school plays and coaching his son's little league baseball teams. Among all the hobbies he enjoyed and the accomplishments Jason achieved, his proudest accomplishment was his 19 year marriage to his beloved wife and raising his two sons. His most favorite thing to do was spend time with his family who he fiercely protected and adored more than anything. Jason is survived by his wife, Leanna "Annie" Brock; children, Baron Thomas Brock and Drake Alexander Brock; Parents, Gary and Gwendolyn "Penny" Brock; Sister, Jennifer L. Brock; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews and cousins. He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Murphy Sr. and Beatrice Brock; maternal grandparents, Peter Allen and Delores Duhe; Uncles Doug Brock and Donald Brock. Visitation will be held at Resthaven Funeral Home on December 2, 2021 from 12:30pm with the funeral service beginning at 2:30pm. Interment will follow at Resthaven Gardens of Memory. Jason's love for people and his caring nature will continue in death by the gift of donation through the Louisiana Organ Procurement Agency. I only knew Jason as the great business man that he was. He was always kind and personable, but always focused on business. He was a huge part of the company and it will be hard to fill his shoes. I send prayers to his family and friends. May God help his wife and boys through this difficult time.
