Jason Walsh Obituary

Jason Young Walsh of New Orleans left this earth suddenly on January 14th after a brief illness. Jason was born in Covington, LA on October 6th, 1987. He attended elementary school in Watertown, CT, middle and high school in Mechanicsville, VA, and graduated from the University of Mary Washington in Fredericksburg, VA with a degree in Religion. Jason is survived by his parents Philip Walsh and Gerry Aldridge (Danny), his twin brother Sean, his sisters Marian Troxler (JJ) and Colleen, his nephew Joey, his niece Violet and many loving aunts, uncles, cousins and friends. Jason lived life authentically and unapologetically. His generous spirit, passion, and devotion touched many hearts. For 34 years he brightened our lives. The world will be a little dimmer without him. Nothing can truly express the void that fills our hearts. Jason Walsh - Psychonautic Adventurer, President of Calendars, Professor of Time & Amateur Time Traveling Mystic, Last of the Great Alchemists, Gentleman of Gentlemen, Raconteur Extraordinaire, and Bestest Friend – you will live forever in our hearts. We will miss you always. Relatives and friends are invited to attend the visitation at Greenwood Funeral Home, 5200 Canal Blvd., New Orleans, LA on Thursday, January 20, 2022, starting at 11:00 AM to 2:00 PM. In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to the ARC of Greater Orleans at www. https://arcgno.org.
