Jean Brocato Obituary

Jean Barker Brocato passed away on Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at the age of 78. Beloved wife of the late Donald F. Brocato. Loving mother of Donald F. Brocato, Jr., Denise B. Ward (Clint), and Kelly Brocato. Grandmother of Christina Broussard (Sean), Christopher Ward (Heather), Lauren Walsh and Julie Walsh. "Sweetie" of Cherish Broussard, Blaze Broussard, Holland Ward. Also survived by her sister, Gayle Lynn Pallansch and her children, Caroline Marie Zacarias and Justin Avery Pallansch. Jean had several interests, including painting, gardening, reading and traveling. She was a good listener and a people person who was very caring, loving and generous. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Saturday, July 16, 2016 at 1:00 PM at Garden of Memories Funeral Home, 4900 Airline Dr. in Metairie, LA. Visitation will begin at 11:00 AM. Interment will be in the Chapel of Eternal Faith in Garden of Memories Cemetery.

My condolence for the passing of your mother. Jean was in the Elks Ladies with me many years ago and she was such a sweet and wonderful lady. She will be deeply missed.
