Jerilyn Sue Edler "Jeri" Tavlin

Jerilyn "Jeri" Sue Edler (Tavlin) Born in New Orleans on December 6, 1946, Jeri spent her younger years in Chalmette, La and finally settled in Hammond, La. She passed away peacefully in her sleep early Monday, February 27, 2017 at the age of 70. She was a very kind and giving person. Everyone that knew her loved her and her sense of humor. She knew no strangers and would help anyone she could. She loved spending time with her family and deeply cherished her grandchildren. She had a passion for cooking and a love for all animals. She is survived by her sons, Daniel Tavlin wife Jacqueline, Donald Tavlin wife Melissa and her grandchildren, Julia and Madelyn Tavlin, Kelsey Bergeron and Brandon Achary. She is preceded in death by her parents, Harry and Evelyn Edler. A special thanks to Heather Dees and all the staff at Hammond Nursing Home for their kind and nurturing care giving.
