Jerome J-Roc was a very good friend to me. We were very close while we were on active duty. We were inseparable. I reconnected with him and several other shipmates after over 20 years and it was like we were all hanging out together the night before. I wish we couldve grew old together, watched our grandkids grow up, and visit each other more often. He will surely be missed. My trips to New Orleans will never be the same.
