Joel Tyrone "Tee" Francis of Plaquemines Parish, LA departed this life on Friday, June 24, 2022 at the age of 55. Brother Joel was baptized at Upper Room Bible Church in Slidell, LA. Prior to becoming disabled, he worked off-shore and completed welding school, top in his class. Joel was born on November 19, 1966 in New Orleans LA to the late Edmund "Pat" Patterson and Henrietta F. Bodden. Grandson of the late Aaron Francis, Sr. and Emma B. Francis. He leaves to cherish precious memories his daughters, Niayonda Bailey and Sada Williams (the late Alvin Minnick); eight grandchildren; sister, Christel Francis; nephew, Captain Sean (Melissa) McDonald; aunts, Lillie Cosse and Emma Giron; uncles, Aaron Francis, Jr. and Joseph Charley Francis; brother and friend of Michael "Mike" Lafrance and Gregg Meyer. Also survived by a host of cousins, other relatives and friends. A Celebration service honoring the life of the late Mr. Joel Tyrone "Tee" Francis will be held in the Chapel of Charbonnet Family Services, 4917 E. Judge Perez Drive, Violet, LA 70092 on Saturday, July 2, 2022 at 10 a.m., Rev. Christopher Francis, officiating. Interment Promise Land Cemetery, 5777 LA-39, Braithwaite, LA 70040.
