Joell Gretchen Sandoz Rostetter

Joell passed away on Saturday, August 19, 2017 at Canon Hospice at the age of 77. She was born in New Orleans, Louisiana and was a lifelong resident of Metairie, Louisiana. She was a breast cancer survivor of 27 yrs. She loved camping, gardening, cooking and larger than life Holiday decorating. She especially loved her family with all her heart. Joell is survived by her sister Miriam Sandoz Barrios and brother Peyton R. Sandoz. Also, her daughter Patricia Trepagnier and her husband Keith, two sons Michael Earl Rostetter and Kevin Paul Rostetter. Grandchildren Mandy Trepagnier Serpas (Ryan), Matthew Trepagnier (Ciji), Abigail Elizabeth and Madison Frances Rostetter. Also, her devoted partner of 38 yrs. Paul Vidrine and her fur-baby, Mai-Ling. Joell was preceded in death by her husband Francis Earl Rostetter, USAF, her sister Melba Adella Sandoz Kahoe and parents Melba and Peyton Sandoz. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass on Thursday, August 24, 2017 at 11:00 am and the visitation will begin at 9:00 am until service time.
