I worked with John at Seventh Ward in Hammond. We kept in touch over 30 years. I tried in vain to contact him over the past two years. I loved him dearly. He had the most generous, kind, and compassionate souI. He was genuine and his integrity was boundless. He lived a good life and loved his family. I offer my heartfelt condolences to his children, friends, and all of his family. I will miss him very much, and pray that he rests in peace.

My heart goes out to you all. I had the pleasure of being John's Administrative Assistant during his tenure in Hammond at 7th Ward General Hospital (now North Oaks Medical Center). He was such a kind and personable person. I truly enjoyed working with him. I spoke with him a few times since he left but had lost touch with him. May he be at peace. Julie Bruhn

Sheldon n I were at Lourdes and graduated together . I had the fun of singing as Annie with Sheldon in De La Salle's Annie Get Your Gun. We remained in touch through the years and reconnected at Jack Ronigers Lourdes reunion. Tall, handsome, and personable , Sheldon will be fondly remembered by all of us who knew him. My condolences to all the family, esp Warren and Lisette.
