John Copeland Obituary

John Lewis Copeland Jr., age 53, passed away Thursday, March 2nd, 2017. He was the loving father of Ceiara Jordan her husband Micah, children Elliot, Etienne, Lavender, and Stillwater; his daughter Bailey Andressen Copeland; and his son Caynan John Copeland and his wife Kimberlie. He is also survived by his sister Janet Marie Copeland Roy, children Logan and Lucas, as well as his brother Anthony Christopher Copeland and his wife Michaela. John was born in New Orleans, Louisiana, graduated from Covington High School in 1981, and attended Southeastern Louisiana University. He was a celebrated member of the Covington High Lions football team and was affectionately known amongst family and friends as an esteemed chef. Memorial service to be held at 1pm on Saturday, March 18th at St. Peter Catholic Church located at 125 East 19th Ave, Covington, Louisiana 70433. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Covington High School, c/o Greg Salter 73030 Lion Dr. Covington, LA 70433 so that a Memorial Award in John's name can be created.
