Crosby; grand nieces - Lucy Black and Harper Black; and grand nephews - Cody Black and Brooks Black. He is predeceased by his mother - Anne Marie Morel Crosby. Born on August 21, 1964 in Brookhaven, Mississippi, John was raised in McComb, Mississippi, and John resided in Mandeville, LA for the past 15 years. John obtained a B.A. Degree in Political Science from the University of Southern Mississippi in 1987 and earned his J.D. Degree from the Louisiana State University Law Center in 1990. He was employed as an attorney with the Carmouche Law Firm in Lake Charles, LA from 1990-1995 and with the Law Firm of Windhorst, Gaudry, Ranson, Higgins and Gremillion in Gretna from 1995-1998, before joining the Law Offices of Frederick Miller & Associates in 1998 where he practiced for the past 18 years. In 1997, he was instrumental in writing the appellate brief for and successfully arguing to the Louisiana Supreme Court in the case of Woolford v. John was also the Managing Editor of the CLC Newsletter for many years, and wrote numerous feature articles for the newsletter, which educated and updated State Farms claims department. During his high school and college years, John worked as a disc jockey. Later in life, he entertained and amazed his friends with the scope of his knowledge of rock-n-roll and music in general. John was a member of the Sons of the American Revolution, an avid movie buff, a music lover, and sports fan who enjoyed an occasional game of golf. Most of his free time was spent with the love of his life, Mary Kathryn, and the couple's 5 year old daughter, Isabella, whom he adored. John was a consummate gentleman, a great friend, a loving son and brother, and a devoted husband and father who will be missed by all.
