John Frank "Sam-John" Dominick

John "Sam-John" Frank Dominick passed away on Saturday, May 13, 2017 at the age of 78. Husband of the late Jean Michel Dominick. Son of the late Clothilde C. Camardelle and Noah Dominique Sr. Father of Shelley D. Guffey (Guy), and step-father of Verna D. Millet, and Gilda D. Cordes (Richard). Grandfather of Michel Lee (Justin), Derek Millet (Crystal), Brianna Guffey, Hailey Guffey, and Brooke Guffey, as well as the late Blaine Millet and Kayla Millet. Brother of Davis Dominique, Edward Camardelle (Gloria), Roland Camardelle (Priscilla), Ellis Camardelle (Valerie), Randel Camardelle (Cindy), Daisy Hebert (Eddie), and Rosetta Bonvillian (Bobby), as well as the late Noah Dominique Jr., Nelson Camardelle, and Archie Camardelle (the late Carolyn). He is also survived by 7 great grandchildren, as well as nieces, nephews, other relatives, and friends. He was a longtime employee of Container Products, formerly known as US Steel. He was a trapper and commercial fisherman. Lifelong resident of Westwego. A Funeral Service will be held in the Chapel of Westside Leitz-Eagan Funeral Home, 5101 Westbank Expressway, Marrero, on Tuesday, May 23, 2017 at 1:00 PM. Visitation will begin at 9:00 AM.
