GADSDEN - Celebration of Life Service for John Henry Gunter, Sr., will be held 2 p.m., Monday, August 8, 2011 at New Mt. Olive Baptist Church with interment to follow in Kingsville Community Cemetery. Visitation will be held Sunday from 3 to 9 p.m. Services have been entrusted to J.P. Holley Funeral Home.

He is survived by his son; John H. (Katrina) Gunter, Jr.; daughters, Edith Simuel, Beatrice Cunningham, Louretta Hopkins, Jill Macon, Evelyn Gunter, Thelma (Ronnie) Young; brothers, Willie Edward (Loretta) Gunter, Sr., and Richard Gunter, Sr.; sisters, Dorothy (Barney) Davis-Parks, and Thelma (William) Dwight; twenty grandchildren, and fifteen great grandchildren. www.jpholley.com
