Born in Jeanerette, LA and a long time resident of Houma, he is survived by his beloved wife, Audrey DeCuir Le Bourgeois. Father of John L., Jr. and his wife Karen Le Bourgeois, Lucille and her husband Bob Gros. Also survived by 6 grandchildren, 9 great grandchildren, two sisters, Juliet Pugh of Jeanarette, LA and Leonie DeCuir of Ft. Myers, FL. He was preceded in death by his daughter, Arlene Mary Le Bourgeois, a granddaughter Rebecca Le Bourgeois, and parents Leon and Ida Schexnayder Le Bourgeois of Jeanarette, LA, sisters Lucille Lampo and Ilene Le Bourgeois. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the funeral and Mass of Christian Burial at Chauvin Funeral Home in Houma, LA on Friday, May 24, 2002.
