John was one of the first people I met when I moved to New Orleans in 1999. John was a very friendly, outgoing person...He was the type of person that could make you laugh even when he wasn't trying to. I just saw him on June 3, when he and Serina came to my birthday party. I remember the last thing he said to me as they were leaving, he said "Happy Birthday Teresa." I will always remember his smile, and I will make sure I celebrate his birthday this year, just like he came to celebrate mine.
