John Washington

John Washington entered into eternal rest on Monday, March 26, 2018, at the age of 57. He was the son of the late Neomi Cenance Washington and Ernest George. John worked at the Medical Center of Louisiana, formerly Charity Hospital, for over 25 years. He leaves to cherish his memory his children: Joycelyn Burse, Jovan Washington and John D. Washington; son-in-law Harvey L. Burse Jr.; grandchildren: Michael J. Johnson Jr., Jordan Burse and Harvey L. Burse III; brother Frank (Norma) Washington; his sisters Cynthia Washington, Samantha Washington and Ernestine (Earl) Ellzey; and a host other relatives and friends. Relatives, Friends, Clergy, Pastors, Officers and members of St. James Major Catholic Church, Corinne Missionary Baptist Church, Bountiful Harvest Full Gospel Church, Little Zion Missionary Baptist Church, LSU Health Science Center, Penn State, Hazleton YMCA, New Orleans Fire Department and Clancy-Maggiore School for the Arts are invited to attend the Mass of Christian Burial, at St. James Major Catholic Church, 3736 Gentilly Boulevard, New Orleans, Louisiana, 70122, on Tuesday, April 3, 2018, at 11:00 A.M.
