Winona,

We are so sorry to hear about Grandpa. We are so fortunate to have known him. My fondest memory of him was around 1993 when Jay and I went out to the farm and he took us out back to pick okra with him. I still remember how he had his pants tucked into his socks to keep out the ticks - I've remembered the trick ever since. I thought of him this summer as I picked okra from the handful of plants I planted last year in St. Francisville.

All our love,
Jay and Marcia (Kistner) Roberg, Ruby & Anna

I send my deepest sympathy to the Zeringue Family. I heard stories about the Zeringue Brothers and Sisters growing up, from my mother-in-law (Odette). They all were great people, who will be missed by many.

December 18, 2011

To all the Zeringue brothers and sisters,

Your dad was a wonderful man. Always trying to help others and doing the best he always could. He truly loved his wife and kids and surely raised them right.

I know you have lots of memories as do most people who knew Mr. Leonard. I certainly enjoyed working with him during my time in office.

God Rest His Soul,

Kevin and Angie Friloux, Vidalia, LA

This is the best grandpa a girl could ask for. I know now that he is at peace at home with grandma and watching down on me. I will truly miss your stories and picking fresh carrots from the farm and eating them right after you taught me how to clean them properly. Love your granddaughter Melba Kenney.
