Joseph Ernest Bush Jr.

Joseph Ernest Bush, Jr. died Monday, January 20, 2003 at 2:15 A.M. at his home. He was 81. Mr. Bush was a retired Horticulturist and assistant manager of City Park in New Orleans for 34 years. He was a graduate of S.L.I., a Navy Veteran of WWII, a Knight's of Columbus third degree charter member of the Ludovicum Council #4663 and a member of the Feed the People Program. Mr. Bush is survived by his wife Patsy J. Bush; three sons: Thomas Bush, Joseph E. Bush, III and Edward Bush; a daughter, Catherine B. Strength; six grandchildren and a sister Joyce B. Keller of Baker. Relatives and friends of the family are invited to attend the Funeral Mass at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home Chapel, 5100 Pontchartrain Blvd. (in Metairie Cemetery) New Orleans, on Wednesday, January 22, 2003 at 2:00 P.M. Visitation will be Tuesday, January 21, 2003 at Lake Lawn Metairie Funeral Home from 6:00 P.M. until 9:00 P.M. and again on Wednesday, from 12:00 P.M. until time of Mass.
