Joseph Eugene Ching, principal of the Ching Law Firm, based in New Orleans, passed away at the age of 67. Mr. Ching was a well-respected business and immigration attorney, who was active in a number of national and international professional organizations. He was a passionate advocate for individual clients on business and immigration matters. In addition, he successfully represented multinational and domestic corporations. He is survived by his wife, Domenica Kwan Ching of San Diego, his son, Justin Ching of Los Angeles, and his daughters, Stephanie and her spouse, Lorenzo Calinawan of New York, Melinda Ching of Boston, and Diana Ching of San Diego. On Wednesday, July 5, 2017, a Memorial Service will be held at JACOB SCHOEN & SON, 3827 Canal Street, New Orleans, LA at 10:00 am to 12:00 pm CST. A Memorial Mass will follow at Mater Dolorosa Catholic Church, 1230 South Carrollton Avenue, New Orleans, LA at 12:30 PM CST. It has been three years since he left, and I still feel that we miss our sincere lawyer, and a good person, i was out of the country, thanks to the help of my lawyer Ching, and we were going to celebrate when i returned for the achievement he obtained in my immigration statutes, and when I returned my family told me the news I was very devastated along with my family because a special person had left us,

I work for United Airlines in New Orleans. Mr. Ching was beloved by every single employee here. I am devastated to hear this news. He always had a smile on this face when he came through the airport and always chatted with us here and there about his travels, and gave us advice on where to go and what to see. He was always polite, and we adored him as a customer. If there was ever such a thing as a role mole customer, Mr. Ching was absolutely the one. Condolences to his family from all the employees here at United in New Orleans. He will surely be missed.

I am just devastated to hear about this. I work for United Airlines in New Orleans, and he was so beloved by all employees here. He was always so genuine and courteous and always stopped by for conversation. He would give us tips on where to travel if one of us wanted to travel somewhere because he was always travelling the world for business and we would ask him where to go and what to see. We at United will miss him very much. If there is ever such a thing as a role model customer, he superseded everyone in that.
